There was a massive shake up in the Six Nations Outright market after the weekend’s matches of which we will give you a run down of now. The first game of the weekend was Italy hosting Wales. The Welsh are in awful form and after the loss to Italy their losing run stretches to 13 games.

The Italians were well organised and Gonzalo Quesada’s team went in at the half time whistle 16-3 in front. The Welsh made some changes shortly after the restart but it was Italy that scored a penalty to take their lead to 16 pts, Warren Gartland’s side did get a try on the 70th minute but failed to convert the extra points.

The match finished 22-13 after a late try by Wales but it was Italy that bounced back from their defeat to Scotland last week.

The second game of the day came from Twickenham where England were hosting favourites France, the French had won their last three against England coming into this match and they were first to get on the scorecard which took 30 minutes. England were quick to fight back and went into the half time break at 7-7.

Fabien Galthie’s side scored two penalties to take a six point lead but just before the hour mark England’s Freeman got a try to bring the game to within a point but a missed conversion again delayed England taking the lead for the first time. The chants of Sweet Chariot were being sung in the 71st minute when the homeside took a 19-18 lead but that lasted for just four minutes as Bielle-Biarrey scored a try and then Thomas Ramos converted.

The England team came back with Elliot Daly scoring in the 79th minute before Fin Smith scored between the posts for the second time. It was a shock result for France losing 25-26 to England here.

There was just one game on Sunday and it was Ireland that took the game 32-18 over Scotland at Murrayfield, Andy Farrell’s side took a 17-0 lead going into the break. George Townsend’s side did get a couple of tries early in the second half but the Irish put a stop to any revival before the hour mark. Ireland went to the top of the Six Nations table and look firmly in control now.
