14/15th February Televised Premiership Football Preview

We have three matches for you Football fans to enjoy the first being Friday evening where Brighton host Chelsea at the American Express Stadium, the two sides met here last weekend in the FA Cup where it ended 2-1 to Brighton. Fabian Hurzeler’s side are comfortable in mid-table and hope to better last season’s finishing position of 11th.   

They will arrive into this game on the back of two defeats in the league at home to Everton (0-1) and away at Nottingham Forest (7-0). 

The visitors Chelsea won their last Premiership game at home to rivals West Ham coming from behind in the second half to win 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Enzo Maresca’s side regained 4th position with that victory leapfrogging Man City. They will hope they can avenge the cup exit to Brighton this Friday and put pressure on 3rd place Forest. The London club lead the head to heads 5-3 with two draws. Kick off 8pm Live on Sky Sports.

The lunchtime game on Saturday comes from the Midlands where strugglers Leicester host Arsenal at the King Power Stadium, Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s side are two points away from safety in 18th place. The visitors Arsenal are second in the Premiership and will arrive into this game on the back of two victories in the league, away at Wolves (0-1) and a thrashing to Man City (5-1). Michael Arteta’s side were unable to stage a comeback in the EFL Cup semi-final second leg to Newcastle where they lost 2-0 but their record here suggests they can make a quick bounce back. The afternoon game comes from Selhurst Park where Crystal Palace host Everton, Oliver Glasner’s side sit above Everton in the league currently in 12th. Everton will hope to back up their 2-1 win against their opponents when the two met earlier in the season. Everton scored a last minute equaliser against Liverpool this week so they should go into this game with abit of confidence, so betting both teams to score at 1/1 with gambling sites not on Gamban looks good value.
