We have reached the knockout phase of the Champions League with home and away due to be played, the first game on Tuesday comes from the Stade du Roudourou where Brest host PSG. Eric Roy’s side sit in 8th in the league and will come into this first leg on the back of two wins, they beat Troyes 1-2 to reach the Quarter-Finals of the Coupe de France and then their more recent match in the league gaining another away win to Nantes 0-2.
This will be a big challenge for Brest over the two legs but fans will be hoping that leading scorer Ludovic Ajorque can add to his 9 goal tally for the season.
The visitors sit top of Ligue 1 clear by 13 pts and a massive 22 pts clear of their opponents here. Luis Enrique have won their last two games in the Champions League beating Man City at home (4-2) and more recently an away victory to Stuttgart (1-4). The two sides met here in the league less than a fortnight ago where it finished 5-2 to PSG. Ousmane Dembele scored a hattrick and substitute Goncalo Ramos came on and scored a brace. We can expect a host of goals again over the two legs but PSG will hope to have the tie in command after the first leg. PSG are in cracking form and half time/full time looks a great bet at 1/1 with American Betting Sites For UK. Kick off 5.45pm Live on TNT Sports.
Match Betting: Brest 7/1, PSG 4/11 and the Draw 9/2
We have three evening games. The first we will look at is Juventus who host PSV at the Allianz Stadium, when the two sides met here in September it was Thiago Motta’s side that came off better beating PSV 3-1 but now this is the knockout phase of the competition. The homeside have won their last two games in Serie A beating Empoli at home (4-1) and then more recently a away victory over Como (1-2) but their overall season hasn’t been up to expectations.
They have drawn 13 of their 24 league matches which leaves their position less desirable sitting 5th and 11 pts off leaders Napoli.
The visitors PSV sit joint top of Eredivisie with Ajax on 51 pts and the top spot looks to be a race between those two, Peter Bosz’s side have won their last two Champions League games beating Crvena Zvezda away (2-3) and then more recently a home victory over Liverpool (3-2). This will be a hard game going to Turin but I’m sure the Dutch side would take a score draw back to the Philips Stadion the following week. Kick off 8pm Live on TNT Sports.

Next on the list is arguably the game of the evening coming from the Etihad with Man City hosting Real Madrid. Pep’s side came off worst when the two sides met in last season’s Champions League Quarter-Finals, it came down to penalties with City losing in front of their home fans.
The homeside won their last Champions League game beating Club Brugge 3-1 here but their league form reflects their position in the league, they got a 5-1 thrashing at the Emirates to Arsenal in the last match which left them sitting in 5th and 15 pts behind leaders Liverpool.
The visitors will arrive in this match on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to their city rivals Atletico Madrid which kept them a point ahead of them in top spot. Carlo Ancelotti’s squad has plenty of goals in them with Kylian Mbappe (16 goals), Vinicius Junior (8 goals) and playmaker Jude Bellingham (7 goals). This looks to be another tight affair that could easily be decided on penalties again over two legs. Kick off 8pm.

The last match of the night comes from the Jose Alvalade Stadium where Sporting host Dortmund, Rui Borges side sit 4 pts clear at the top of the Portuguese Lia. The weekend game for them away to Porto ended 1-1 but the league leaders ended the match with 9 men and conceding a late equaliser in the 94th minute. The frustration got the better of them as the two straight reds were after the equaliser was scored.
They will have to show much more discipline against Dortmund if they want to progress to the next stage of this competition.
The visitors Dortmund aren’t having the best of seasons, Niko Kovac’s side are 11th in the Bundesliga and only won two of their last eight matches, one was at home to Shakhtar in Europe (3-1) and the other was away to Heidenheim (1-2) in the league. This will be a tight match over two legs.
