We have two televised matches this Saturday with the first coming from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where Spurs host Newcastle in what looks to be a cracking match on paper. Newcastle will look to get the home and away double over their opponents after beating them 2-1 earlier in the season.
Eddie Howe has really got his squad in fine form winning their last three games in the league without conceding, beating Man United 2-0 at Old Trafford in their last game. Ange Postecoglou’s team hasn’t on the other hand losing twice and giving away a late equaliser in their last match against Wolves drawing 2-2.
Spurs have conceded eight times in three games so they will be hoping to put a halt to that against the Geordies, but I have very strong doubts they will be able to. If your looking for a value bet, I would recommend taking 9/4 for Newcastle to win and both teams to score which is top price at the leading American betting sites for UK players.
Current odds: Spurs 15/8, Newcastle 5/4 and the draw 29/10.
Kick Off 12.30pm Saturday live on TNT Sports.
Our second televised game comes from the American Express Stadium where Arsenal travel to take on Brighton. When the teams met earlier on in the season at the Emirates Arteta’s men spent most of the second half with ten men with Declan Rice getting a second yellow for time wasting, Pedro equalised for the visitors that day and Arsenal spent the last thirty minutes holding on for a point.
Arsenal will go into the game expecting to get three points this time around now they have got some form winning their last four Premiership games and the seagulls only managing three draws in theirs.
Brighton have a host of injury woes but Arsenal will only have one noticeable problem with the right back position being an issue due to Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu injured and Jurrien Timber now suspended. Thomas Partley has filled the right back position this term so we expect that to be the case on Saturday.
Fabian Hurzeler has revealed that in-demand striker Evan Ferguson is injured for the game but hopes he’s not sidelined for more than a week. With the transfer market open he has been linked with a handful of clubs. New signing Diego Gomez will not be available to make his debut against the Gunners. The 21 year old midfielder has joined from Inter Miami.
With Arsenal on a strong run of form, I suspect they will be too strong for Brighton and the 4/5 odds on Arsenal taking three points at the leading non UK casinos is too appealing to go unbacked.
Current odds Brighton 7/2, Arsenal 4/5 and the draw 14/5.
Good luck and please gamble responsibly.
