We have three games from the Championship to look into the first coming from Turf Moor where Burnley welcome Oxford, Scott Parker’s side are pushing to return to the top flight of football at the first time of asking after getting relegated from the Premiership last season.

The Clarets haven’t lost a game at home and only suffered one defeat in the Championship which was away to Millwall at the beginning of November. They come into this match on the back of two consecutive goalless draws at home to league leaders Leeds and then away to Portsmouth at the weekend but this game is a great opportunity to get back scoring goals.

Parker’s side have a 4th round FA Cup tie away to Southampton to look forward to on Saturday but I’m sure the manager would prioritize getting automatic promotion.

The visitors Oxford are 16th in the table currently and ten points away from the drop zone, Gary Rowett’s side won last season’s League One playoffs and are nine games unbeaten in the Championship. Four of the five wins have been at their Kassam Stadium but Welsh forward Mark Harris will be looking to add to his 5 goal tally for this campaign. Burnley are solid at the back and we recommend betting them to win to nill which is top priced at 6/5 with casinos not on Gamban. Kick off Tuesday 7.45pm.

Match Betting for this game: Burnley 1/2, Oxford 15/2 and the Draw 3/1.

The other game comes from Loftus Road where QPR welcome Blackburn, Marti Cifuentes side sit just below midtable having lost their last two games in the Championship at home to Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 and then more recently a 2-1 defeat away at Millwall.

The homeside just have the league to concentrate on now after they were knocked out of the 3rd round of the FA Cup to Leicester City 6-2 and although it’s a big ask they are still mathematically able to get in the play off positions as it stands six points separate themselves at 6th position.

The visitors Blackburn are in 5th in the Championship but with a ten point gap between themselves and 4th place Sunderland John Eustace’s team have got to keep picking up points to keep their chances of a possible return to the Premiership intact.

They got back on track after three straight defeats with a win at home to local rivals Preston North End beating them 2-1 at Ewood Park having been the second best side for most of the game. It was striker Makhtar Gueye who was on the score sheet but top goal scorer Yuki Ohashi has been on the sidelines since getting injured on New Year’s Day. Kick off 7.45pm Tuesday.

Match Betting for this game:
Gambling Sites That Take Credit Cards: QPR 7/4, Blackburn 19/10 and the Draw 21/10.

We just have the one game Wednesday evening and that is Coventry hosting league leaders Leeds, Frank Lampard’s side are sitting in 11th having won four on the bounce in the Championship. The homeside have had victories at home to Bristol City (1-0), away at Blackburn (0-2), at home to Watford (2-1) and away at Swansea (0-2). Top scorer Haji Wright has been out injured since November but Lampard has filled his void with Ellis Simms and Brandon Thomas-Asante.

The visitors Leeds are two points clear at the top of the table and Daniel Farke’s side are unbeaten since the end of November. The leaders have won three of their last four games in the Championship scoring a massive 12 goals in the process. The forward trio of Joel Piroe (12), Daniel James (8) and Brenden Aaronson (8) are firing goals in left, right and centre and they are well on the way to a return to Premiership football.

This will be an entertaining game of football with Coventry looking to get revenge from their 3-0 defeat at Elland Road at the beginning of the season, however we still expect Leeds to be too strong. The recommended bet would be taking the price boost of 1/1 for Leeds to win at non UKGC casinos.

Match Betting: Coventry 3/1, Leeds 17/20 and the Draw 13/5 Kick off Wednesday 7.45pm.

We wish you the best of luck with your selections for the midweek action.

Please remember to gamble responsibly.
