The battle for teams in the relegation zone took another reshuffle at the weekend with Everton climbing further away from the drop zone, a win away to Brighton making that two on the bounce for David Moyes’s team and getting them seven points from the bottom three now.
Leicester came from a goal down to win 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium giving manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy his second win in the Premiership for the Foxes since he took over the reins at the end of November. It was Jamie Vardy and Bilal Khannouss who helped their team climb out of the relegation zone. Next up for the Foxes is a trip up to Goodison Park to face Everton who will look to put a quick holt on Leicester thinking they have turned the corner. Ipswich are 19th currently but joint on 16 points with Wolves, Kieran McKenna’s team have a home game next against bottom of the table Southampton. Every game is big for each of the teams at the bottom but you’d say Southampton are to far adrift now and it’s a case of battle between Leicester, Wolves and Ipswich who occupies Southampton playing Championship football next season.
