The last of the midweek Premier League action comes on Thursday evening where we have two games, the first being Ipswich hosting Brighton and Hove Albion. Ipswich’s form hasn’t been great this season and their league position mirrors this, sitting in 18th and in a relegation battle. Fans will be hoping for their team to carry on from the last two games results where they picked up three points at home to Chelsea (2-0) and then more recently a point away at Fulham (2-2). Kieran McKenna is expecting to strengthen in this transfer window to push his team out of trouble.

Brighton have drawn their last four games in the league away at West Ham, Aston Villa and then at home to Brentford and Arsenal. You could argue that on the face of it two of those were good points to pick up. Fabian Hurzeler has got his team sitting in 10th place in the table and strikers Danny Welbeck (6) and Joao Pedro (5) have been their most prolific scorers so far.

Brighton will be hoping to get maximum points at Portman Road but the home team will see this as a winnable match also, the best bet looks like both teams to score at 7/10 with the credit card gambling sites

Betting for the encounter: Ipswich 11/4, Brighton 10/11 and the Draw 11/4 Kick off 7.30pm

The other game comes from Old Trafford where Man United welcome bottom of the table Southampton. Ruben Amorim see’s his team sitting in 13th which is well below standards for the Manchester club. Before picking up a point away at Anfield (2-2) United had lost three league games on the bounce conceding seven and failing to score in them also.

It’s known that United are in the market for new recruits but they gave Amad Diallo a new contract keeping him at the club till 2030. It’s expected that there will be some departures as well as arrivals in this January window.

Southampton find themselves bottom of the table and ten points away from the relegation zone so it’s looking very likely that they will be spending next season playing Championship football. They have conceded 19 goals and picked up only one point in their last seven Premiership games. The manner of their last loss at home to Brentford was extremely disappointing, losing 5-0.

It’s clear to see neither team are playing well but will the talent United have in their squad they will see this as a game to lift their confidence and net a few goals. Man United to win to Nill looks a good bet at 11/8 with non UKGC casinos.

Betting for this game: Man United 2/7, Southampton 9/1 and the Draw 9/2 Kick off 8pm

Good luck with your predictions and please remember to gamble responsibly.
