A few various media outlets reported that B.C Game’s parent company, which is called Small House BV, had been removed from the list of cancelled licenses at Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA). They also sparked rumours that Rabidi NV were also on the list which sparked a fire that both companies might return to the European market.
The Reality of this
Despite the rumours released in the media both Small House BV and Rabidi NV are still showing as licensed “Revoked” on the Enforcement Register meaning their licenses are still cancelled.
Why was there confusion?
On 12 September, the CGA updated its register with some new entries. But the new version had some issues which we have listed below:
- The opening text was missing.
- The numbering skipped from “1” to “4.”
- Some companies briefly didn’t appear.
These system errors on the register caused people to think the two operators had been removed when in fact they hadn’t.
Summerising
Both companies are still listed as licenses “revoked”. The rumours about their comeback in various media outlets seem to be based on mistakes in the CGA’s updated register, not on any official licence change.
