To dull any Monday blues you may be suffering from, we have you covered football fans. To start the week’s entertainment we have a cracking top of the table clash where Burnley host leaders Leeds at Turf Moor.

Scott Parker’s side are currently in 3rd but only three points off Leeds so a win in front of their home fans would put them joint top with only goal difference keeping them from themselves and the Yorkshire club. Turf Moor has been a fortress for Parker’s team remaining unbeaten there so far this season and will now be looking to do the home and away double over the Leeds who they beat 1-0 at Elland Road at the beginning of the season.

They reached the fourth round of the FA Cup for which they have the long trip down to Premiership strugglers Southampton to look forward to next month but the priority will be to get back in top flight football.

Leeds will make the journey over to Lancashire with a great record currently on a ten match unbeaten run (winning seven and drawing three). Daniel Farke’s place at the top of the table is well deserved having only three defeats all season; 1-0 at home to Burnley and two away to Millwall and Blackburn both 1-0.

This looks to have a game with goals with the visitors showing confidence in front of goal, Joel Piroe with 10 goals up to now and forward Manor Solomon hoping to make it three games on the bounce getting on the scoresheet. They also have a FA Cup fourth round tie to look forward to when they welcome fellow Championship side Millwall to Elland Road next month. Kick off 8pm Live on Sky Sports.

We only have one game midweek in the Championship and that comes on Tuesday when Portsmouth welcome Millwall to Fratton Park. John Mousinho finds his squad towards the bottom of the table with a relegation battle on the cards, the form at home has been great in the league recently winning their last four scoring 13 goals in the process.

The sides have only met in the EFL Cup this season where it ended 1-0 to Millwall at Fratton Park but the homeside will look to erase that result and keep their great run of home form intact.

Millwall are having an average season sitting in 16th in the league and have struggled with consistency at present, they did put four straight wins together at the end of October beating Leeds and Burnley 1-0 at the Den but picking up back to back maximum points has been a challenge for Alex Neil’s side.

They have the chance to dismiss that statistic as they beat Luton 1-0 away from home in their last game. This match has an intriguing feel to it but will the homesides fans be the difference and help their side climb further away from the relegation zone. Kick Off 7.45pm .
