We have four televised games from the top flight of English Football this weekend with all of them looking great on paper, we will look at the Saturday ones in this article. The first one is from Goodison Park where Everton host Man United. The homeside have been a different proposition since the return of David Moyes, since losing his first game at home to Aston Villa (0-1) he has won four and drawn one in the league. They beat Spurs at home (3-2), Brighton away (0-1), Everton at home (4-0), drew 2-2 at home to Liverpool and more recently beat Crystal Palace away (1-2) last weekend.
Everton did suffer a fourth round exit in the FA Cup to Bournemouth (0-2) but their great run in the Premiership has lifted them 13pts away from the relegation zone up to 14th.
The visitors Man United are a point behind Everton in the table and 15th but Ruben Amorim’s side are in much different form to their opponents. They haven’t managed to put two consecutive wins together in the Premiership all season and arrive at this game on the back of two defeats in the league. They lost at home to Crystal Palace (0-2) and last weekend away to Tottenham (1-0).
They beat Arsenal on penalties and also a 2-1 home victory over Leicester in the FA Cup so their cup run is still intact, they have a home fixture against Fulham in the 5th round. Man United have won their last six games in all competitions against Everton but can they upset the current form book? Kick off 12.30pm Saturday Live on TNT Sports.

The second televised game comes from Villa Park where Aston Villa host Chelsea, Unai Emery’s side have only suffered defeat once at Villa Park in the league this season but their drawing six has been their downfall. They have slipped down to 9th in the table after three draws and one defeat in their last four games, they drew away to Arsenal (2-2), drew at home to West Ham (1-1), losing away to local rivals Wolves (2-0) and more recently drew at home to Ipswich (1-1).
The next two games for Villa are midweek to Liverpool and then this game at the weekend to Chelsea so can Emery’s side manage to get any points from these two tough fixtures.
The visitors Chelsea are 6th in the league but Enzo Maresca’s side have struggled with consistency as of late, they suffered defeats to Brighton in the FA Cup 2-1 and then in the Premiership 3-0 in the last two games (both away). The last two matches at Stamford Bridge have been won against Wolves (3-1) and West Ham (2-1) but they haven’t looked great on the pitch.
This will be an interesting game and could go either way but Chelsea will be hoping they can complete the home and away double over Villa this season having beaten them 3-0 at Stamford Bridge. Kick off 5.30pm Saturday Live on Sky Sports.
