As summer slowly comes to an end, there’s only one thing that means for most people across the country, the start of the new football season! Football fans across the world will start putting together predictions for league promotions, relegations, and even top scorers.
Below I am going to cover my thoughts and predictions on the up and coming season in the highly anticipated Sky Bet Championship.
My outright prediction for season 24/25 will be Burnley, Burnley are currently 7/2 second favourites with the leading betting sites not on Gamstop just behind hot shots Leed United (who just missed out promotion last year!)
Exciting manager Scott Parker has recently taken over the reins, Parkers has previously taken both Fulham & Bournemouth to the premier league. Burnley has several exciting arrivals in the form of left winger Mike Tresor and defender Maxime Esteve. Winning the title this year won’t be an easy task with a fully wound up Leed United squad ready for redemption from last year. There is no surprise to see Leeds at the top of the betting for promotion after last year’s emphatic season, just falling short to Southampton in the play-off final. However Leeds have seen a pretty tragic departure coming into the new season of Crysencio Summerville, last year’s player of the season!
My final prediction of the blog will be Leeds United’s Mateo Joseph to be Sky Bet Championship 24/25 top goalscorer. But I feel Leeds might yet again come up short in winning the title. Best of Luck!
